On September 20, 2012, 2011-2013 CRR-CLS Fellow, Erez Aloni, published “The Future of Our Relationships” on the Huffington Post. In this blog, he explains what the U.S. might have to learn from France and Scotland and their path to legalizing same-sex marriage. Erez anticipates that, “in a decade, the tide will have turned. A new generation will see that marriage (or no marriage) for same-sex couples is not really the salient issue: the issue is the ability to establish for ourselves, no matter our sexual orientation, partnerships that are legally respected and financially and emotionally secure.”
