Virtual Event: Abortion Law in the U.S. and Abroad After Roe
- Story

Register today for “Abortion Law in the U.S. and Abroad After Roe,” a timely and important discussion on Thursday, July 14, at 7:00 – 8:00 pm featuring Mary Ziegler, a leading authority on the legal history of abortion in the U.S., and Katherine Mayall, Director of Strategic Initiatives for the Center for Reproductive Rights. This virtual event is free and open to the public. Watch the replay here.
The session, part of the National Constitution Center’s “America’s Town Hall” series of constitutional conversations, will explore the role of the Supreme Court in shaping abortion rights under the Constitution, how U.S. abortion law compares to that of other countries after “Roe,” and what lessons the U.S. can learn from how abortion is treated by law in other nations.
Jeffrey Rosen, President and CEO of the National Constitution Center, will moderate the discussion

The program is being presented in partnership and sponsored by the Center for Constitutional Design at Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law.
This town hall event comes just weeks after the U.S. Supreme Court ruling in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization overturning Roe v. Wade and taking away the constitutional right to abortion.
