This article from Rewire News Group about the Center’s upcoming Supreme Court case on a Mississippi abortion ban explains that banning abortion after 15-weeks of pregnancy is not compromise, but “capitulation.” Upholding the ban would go against nearly 50 years of legal precedent and would overturn Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey. The article also explains that there can be no compromise when it comes to a person’s human rights and that, “Either a person has the fundamental human right to bodily autonomy or they don’t.” 

The Center is representing Jackson Women’s Health Organization in Dobbs and is scheduled to present oral arguments to the Court on December 1.
