New Law School Initiative Innovation in Scholarship Awardee: Professor Carol Sanger
The Law School Initiative at the Center for Reproductive rights is excited to announce the next Innovation in Scholarship Awardee, Professor Carol Sanger! Carol Sanger is the Barbara Aronstein Black Professor of Law at Columbia Law School. She teaches and writes in several fields, including Contracts, Family Law, and Feminist Jurisprudence. She received the Columbia University Presidential Teaching Award in 2001 and has chaired the Association of American Law Schools’ Sections on Family Law, Immigration Law, and most recently, Contracts. Professor Sanger has published many book chapters and articles, including Seeing and Believing: Mandatory Ultrasound and the Path to a Protected Choice and Regulating Teenage Abortion in the United States: Politics and Policy. We are thrilled to welcome Professor Sanger as the Innovation in Scholarship Awardee, and we greatly look forward to working with her over the coming months.
