Oversight Actions
A healthy, functioning government relies on transparency and a strong accountability system to ensure that it is working for the people, all the people. The Center is conducting oversight to hold the Trump administration accountable for its actions by demanding transparency and to identify and expose wrongdoing. Our goal is to make sure the public is aware of the Trump administrationās anti-reproductive rights actions and block as many of these actions from taking effect, so that, in the future, we can work to undo the Trump administrationās harmful actions and restore access to reproductive rights in the United States.
Check out this factsheet to see a summary of our FOIA records requests in FY26. FOIA requests are a tool the Center uses to conduct oversight, identify and expose wrongdoing, and hold the Trump administration accountable. In over 30 FOIAs, we have been met with a nearly total lack of transparency.
