Physicians for Reproductive Health Amicus Brief in Alliance for Hippocratic Medicine v. FDA
Brief filed in support of the FDA in Alliance for Hippocratic Medicine v. FDA.
Amicus is Physicians for Reproductive Health (“PRH”), a doctor-led nonprofit of 450 PRH-trained physicians that seeks to assure meaningful access to comprehensive reproductive health services, including contraception and abortion, as part of mainstream medical care.
In the brief, PRH physicians offer their first-hand perspectives on the proven safety and efficacy of mifepristone in obstetrics, gynecology and complex family planning. Their brief explains why access to mifepristone is critical, and the ways that limiting or blocking access to mifepristone would undermine access to abortion and miscarriage care, as well as an array of other reproductive health care in every state in the country.
This brief was one of many filed in support of the FDA in Alliance for Hippocratic Medicine v. FDA. For more information on the case, click here.
