The Summit convened state advocates, state legislators, and national partners across 16 states, as well as activists and leaders from Ireland and Argentina, for a day of strategizing, information sharing, and skill building. This powerful group of leaders came together to share promising models and strategies to advance proactive state policies in support of abortion access and improved maternal health outcomes. The Center was joined by Senators Tammy Duckworth (D-IL) and Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) in addition to Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) to kick off the Summit and share their appreciation for the state leaders who are passing policies at the state level to ensure everyone has access to the full spectrum of reproductive healthcare.
