Call for Applications for the Women’s Human Rights Training Institute, 2011-2013
The Women’s Human Rights Training Institute (WHRTI) was founded in 2004 as a first-of-its-kind program aimed at building the capacity of young lawyers from Central and Eastern European and the Newly Independent States for litigation on women’s rights issues, including violence against women, sexual and reproductive health and rights, and employment discrimination.
After three successful rounds, the Bulgarian Gender Research Foundation, together with the Center for Reproductive Rights and the Network of East-West Women, and in cooperation with representatives of the Euroregional Center for Public Initiatives, is thrilled to co-host the fourth round of the WHRTI program.
We are now accepting applications from practicing lawyers and legal counselors working with human rights or women’s rights NGOs in Central and Eastern Europe and the Newly Independent States. The deadline for application submission is July 31, 2011.
