Patrick Egan
Patrick Egan joined the Center in 2011 and writes features for the website, produces the annual report, contributes to donor publications, and writes and edits other publishing projects. He came from Children’s Rights, a legal advocacy organization that reforms failing foster care systems. Prior to that, Patrick was a freelance journalist, and his work appeared in the New York Times, Washington Post, City Limits , and other publications.
Patrick received his M.S. in journalism from Columbia University, an M.F.A. in creative writing from the University of North Carolina, Greensboro, and a B.S. from the University of Richmond.
