Janna Chan
Janna Chan joined the Center in 2009 as the Manager of Online Strategy and Response. Her role includes developing and packaging a wide variety of compelling editorial content for an online audience and engaging CRR supporters through email advocacy and social media.
Before joining the Center, Ms. Chan was a non-profit consultant for M+R Strategic Services and managed online advocacy and fundraising campaigns for clients such as AARP, The Smithsonian and The Wilderness Society. Prior to that, she was the Online Content Specialist for Lambda Legal working on LGBT and HIV eCampaigns and led the organization to win the 2007 Convio Innovator Award for Best Email Communications.
Ms. Chan began her career as a journalist, and her work has appeared in publications such as the Village Voice, Seattle Magazine, Seattle Weekly and AsianAvenue.com. She received her BA in Journalism from the University of Washington.
