Aimee Boone Cunningham
Aimee joined the Center’s board in 2013 and is a community volunteer and activist in Austin who has worked for progressive causes for 12 years, raising more than $35 million. Most recently, Aimee served as the Vice President of Development for Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas.
Aimee, who lives in Austin, has been active in the Democratic Party since moving back to Texas in 2004, working on campaigns and on the staff of elected officials serving in the state legislature. Before that, she spent three years in Washington, DC, working as a campus organizer for the Feminist Majority Foundation and on The March for Women's Lives. Aimee also serves on the board of the Greenhill School in Dallas and is a past board member of Planned Parenthood of the Texas Capitol Region, SafePlace, and the Austin Community Foundation. In 2008, Aimee received the New Leaders’ Council “40 Under 40” award.
