U.S. and international reproductive rights law and litigation, including historical knowledge of key legal decisions in reproductive health; analysis of current cases in the reproductive rights movement; and reproductive health policy at the U.S. federal level.  Northup has also guided the Center in its work before human rights treaty monitoring bodies, including the United Nations Human Rights Committee, Inter-American Human Rights system and the European Court of Human Rights.
